Henk de Jong may not be the coach of SC Cambuur next season. According to Arjen de Boer of Omrop Friesland is the coach at Go Ahead Eagles in the picture to succeed René Hake, who is leaving for Manchester United.
However, it is very questionable whether De Jong will also become the new trainer at De Adelaarshorst. According to Football International Paul Simonis, assistant coach to Robin van Persie at sc Heerenveen, is now well on his way to replacing Hake.

“Is it true that I was approached by Go Ahead? Yes,” De Jong answers, visibly surprised. “That doesn’t come from us. That has to come from them. It’s not nice of me to say that. You should ask the people at Go Ahead Eagles.”
“I'm at a great club. We have a plan for the coming years and I want to be part of that. I wish Go Ahead everything, they are a world-class club,” says the most successful Cambuur coach in the club's history in a characteristic way.
