Rick Karsdorp can leave AS Roma on a free transfer this summer, it is known General Daily Newspaper Thursday. The 29-year-old right back is under contract at the Stadio Olimpico until mid-2025, but his employer does not want to continue the collaboration. Karsdorp has been under contract with Roma since mid-2016.

In addition to Karsdorp, Leonardo Spinazzola is also on the list to leave Roma. The Romans do not intend to make a new offer to the left back, who expired on July 1. As a result, Roma will be saying goodbye to two defenders in a short period of time.

Technical director Florent Ghisolfi wants to thoroughly renovate the Roma selection and Karsdorp and Spinazzola are the victims of that. There have been inquiries from various countries about Karsdorp, who wants to take his time regarding his next club.

The transfer value of Karsdorp is by Transfer market estimated at five million euros. However, clubs do not have to come up with a sum of money, as Roma grants the wing defender a free transfer status.
