Latest update:

Galatasaray has filed an official complaint against several Fenerbahçe players, including Jayden Oosterwolde and Ferdi Kadioglu. According to the Turkish top club, they showed inappropriate behavior after the mutual confrontation last weekend (0-1 win for Fenerbahçe).

Galatasaray forgot to win the national title in Turkey last weekend. At home, one point was enough against Fenerbahçe, but Cim Bom surprisingly lost 0-1 due to a goal by Caglar Söyüncü.

Afterwards, images appeared on the internet from the Fenerbahçe dressing room. Offensive texts against Galatasaray could have been seen and heard on those images. Oosterwolde also shared similar images on his Instagram Stories.

That may now have consequences. Galatasaray has filed an official complaint with the Turkish Football Association following this misconduct. The club wants the association to study the images and punish the people in question.

On the other hand, Fenerbahçe also wants the Turkish association to take action, but for another alleged incident. Galatasaray player Kerem Aktürkoglu allegedly made offensive statements in the catacombs, they claim.

This Sunday, the final day of the competition will be followed by the denouement in the Turkish Süper Lig. Galatasaray once again needs one point to win its 24th national title. Fenerbahçe will have to win at least and then hope for another slip by the leader.
