Brian Brobbey sees PSV as the absolute favorite in Saturday evening's top match. In conversation with ESPN the Ajax striker announced before the match in the Johan Cruijff ArenA that there are 'opportunities' for his team to beat PSV, but that the Eindhoven team has a better chance of winning the final.

Brobbey was presented with the award for Player of the Month for January. It was the second month in a row that he received the trophy from ESPN. The striker scored five times in three games.

“It will be a very fun competition. Against PSV is always fun. There are certainly opportunities for us, but PSV is of course the favorite,” Brobbey looks ahead to the meeting with the Eindhoven team.

“Of course I also think back to the match earlier this season. I think we played fantastic in the first half. If I had taken my chances, and other people had too, I think we would be well ahead.”

The words are in line with the statements of trainer John van 't Schip at the press conference the day before the clash. “We are going into the match to win, that is clear. It is also clear that we are playing against a very good team and that PSV is the favorite,” the coach said.

Brobbey is also very pleased with the arrival of Jordan Henderson, who is in the starting line-up against PSV and takes the place of Benjamin Tahirovic.

“It is positive how he is within the group and also how he is coaching. He obviously brings a lot of experience, he has won the Champions League and played in the Premier League for a long time,” concludes Brobbey.
