Peter Bosz does not yet know whether he will have Joey Veerman and Malik Tillman at his disposal in the cracker against Ajax on Saturday evening. The former trained individually last week, while the American midfielder is on his way back from a thigh injury. In any case, the PSV trainer will have Ismael Saibari at his disposal again.

Bosz seems to be missing one or more important forces against Ajax. Veerman has been training individually in recent days after he suffered a fibula injury during the warm-up for the cup match against FC Twente on January 17.

According to club watcher Rik Elfrink, who was present at the press conference prior to the match against Ajax, it appears that the match in the Johan Cruijff ArenA will come too early for Veerman. In any case, Bosz did not want to make a decision about whether the midfielder would play until Friday afternoon after the last training.

Tillman also had to miss the match against Almere City (2-0 win) last Saturday. Bosz does not comment on whether the creative will be in the selection for the match against Ajax.

This will most likely apply to Saibari. The attacking midfielder was active in the African Cup of Nations with Morocco in recent weeks, but was eliminated by South Africa at the beginning of this week. Saibari returned to Eindhoven on Wednesday.

“We missed him,” Bosz said at the press conference. Saibari is fully fit and can make minutes against Ajax on Saturday evening. Bosz left it open whether he does this from the first whistle or as a substitute.

At the end of October, Saibari played a leading role during the home game against Ajax. The Moroccan international came in after half time, trailing 1-2, after which a convincing 5-2 victory was achieved.
