Sydney van Hooijdonk will play for Norwich City in the next six months, the club announced through official channels. The 23-year-old striker is rented from Bologna, where he hardly had any playing time. Norwich has also negotiated an option to purchase. On Tuesday it was announced that Norwich would most likely become Van Hooijdonk's new employer. The Breda native was at a dead end in Italy and only played 382 minutes (spread over 11 games) this season.
