Myron Boadu can definitely call himself a player of FC Twente. The Tukkers have announced the arrival of the striker through official channels. After lengthy negotiations with AS Monaco, the Enschede club has finally reached an agreement, which means that the striker will complete the rest of the season on a rental basis at FC Twente.

The current number three in the Eredivisie has not negotiated a purchase option. Boadu is pleased with his temporary transfer, the 23-year-old attacker says on the FC Twente club website.

“I was really looking forward to being back in the Netherlands,” Boadu is quoted as saying. |I am happy that I now have the opportunity at a nice big club like FC Twente. FC Twente has a lot of quality in the team and hopefully great matches await us in the near future.”

“We want to secure European football,” continues the former AZ player. “I already know some of the guys from the selection, I'm really looking forward to working with them.”

Technical director Arnold Bruggink, who announced the arrival of Boadu earlier in the day, is very satisfied with the signing of his dream striker. “We are very happy to welcome Myron Boadu today,” says Bruggink.

“After the departure of Manfred Ugalde (to Spartak Moscow, ed.) Myron is an excellent reinforcement for our selection. Myron has extra qualities that we were looking for.”

“With his speed we also have an extra weapon. This is a very good opportunity for both Myron and FC Twente, we are going to make something great out of it together,” concludes Bruggink.
