Peter Bosz does not understand why people often talk critically about Noa Lang. The PSV coach has called the wing attacker, who has suffered yet another hamstring injury, a real team player and someone who is very important to his teammates in Eindhoven.

“We Dutch, and that includes me, are quick to judge,” Bosz readily admits in an extensive interview with Heroes Magazine. “Well, Noa is living proof that almost everyone is completely wrong. He has a certain image, but is one of the greatest team players I have experienced.”

“Noa ensures that the team stays together, is very social,” says the satisfied PSV coach, who immediately sets an example. “At the last training before Christmas, he came to De Herdgang and brought a bottle of wine for everyone – not only for the staff and players, but also for the people in the kitchen, for example. If he didn't have to do that, no one had asked for it, but he did.”

Bosz has another example up his sleeve. “Malik Tillman is one of the new boys, he came over from Bayern Munich. I have never met such a shy, timid player, he hardly dared to look at me when I spoke to him.”

“After a month or two I sat down with him and asked if he was having a good time,” the coach of the Eindhoven leader continues his story. “Whether he had already settled in at PSV.”

“'Yes,' he said, 'Noa invited me to his house, he also asked his hairdresser and some friends to really make me feel like I belong.' Isn't that great? Noa always thinks in the interest of the team,” said the complimentary Bosz.

Injury
Bosz will not have access to Lang for the time being. It became clear on Monday that the wing attacker has suffered another hamstring injury and will be absent for an extended period. In any case, Lang will miss the top match against Ajax next Saturday, while the diptych with Borussia Dortmund (February 20 and March 13) in the eighth final of the Champions League is also at risk.
