Harry Kane has had a clause included in his contract that could earn him a lot of money at the end of the season, it has been revealed BILD. If the Bayern Munich striker scores a set number of goals, he can receive 250,000 euros (!) from the club.

Kane’s scoring drive makes him the best-performing Bundesliga newcomer of all time. Anyone who was afraid of a void in the Allianz Arena after the departure of Robert Lewandowski to FC Barcelona did not have to be bored for long.

According to information from BILD Kane can credit as much as a quarter of a million euros if he scores at least forty times in all competitions this season. The chance of that happening seems high, as the counter is already at 21 hits after a third of the season.

Kane scored seventeen times in eleven games in the Bundesliga and was accurate four times in as many matches in the Champions League. Small ‘downer’ for Kane is the early elimination in the DFB-Pokal. Bayern lost to SV Saarbrücken in the previous round.

Thanks to his two goals on Saturday against 1. FC Heidenheim (4-2 win), Kane has now scored more times than the top scorer of the last Bundesliga season. Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig) and Niclas Füllkrug (Werder Bremen) scored sixteen goals.

The clause is not very inconvenient for Kane, as the striker has spent no less than 11,500 euros per day on a very expensive five-star hotel since coming to Bayern. The Englishman has not yet managed to find a suitable home, which is why he is staying in the luxurious Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski for so long.
