Naci Ünüvar did not make himself popular with several Ajax supporters on Sunday. The twenty-year-old loanee from FC Twente, who is contracted to the Johan Cruijff Arena until mid-2026, set the final score at De Grolsch Veste at 3-1. The left foot then celebrated his goal by cheering extensively and posted a photo and video of the moment on Twitter. Some of the Ajax fans react not amused at the post of the youth product. Ünüvar is accused of being ‘disrespectful’ in his tweet, while others no longer want to see him in an Ajax shirt. “You don’t have to come back anymore,” writes an angry Twitter user. “Cheering against your employer, cheering against your youth club. Really incredibly young…,” said another. Ünüvar does not seem to care about the criticism, as the message has been online for hours.
