It seems that Peter Bosz will sign a multi-year contract with PSV in the near future, reports Rik Elfrink. The journalist of the Eindhovens Dagblad expects that there are ‘quite a few challenges’ for club and trainer, should Bosz actually opt for employment in Eindhoven.

There are whispers around the Philips Stadium that PSV is pretty sure that Bosz likes the Eindhoven project, Elfrink says. The journalist then points out a number of bottlenecks that need to be resolved. PSV is reportedly going to ‘dig deep into their pockets’ to recruit the currently clubless trainer. Bosz would like to fill in part of his technical staff himself, whereby it is obvious that Rob Maas will become his assistant.

Taking care of the selection can be the biggest challenge for Bosz. PSV needs new defenders to make Bosz’s intended attacking and attractive game successful, according to Elfrink, who expects Jordan Teze to get another chance under Bosz, while André Ramalho “seems to be in the danger zone” and is eligible for a transfer’.

The priority in terms of incoming transfers seems to be on a new defensive midfielder, right back and left winger. If Bosz definitively chooses PSV in the coming days, a tough job awaits him. The first training of the Eindhoven team is scheduled for July 3. Five weeks later, the team will have to be there in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. The short preparation time for a new trainer would be a major concern for the PSV club management.
