Roger Schmidt has announced the line-up in which PSV will play against Leicester City on Thursday evening. The trainer opts for a goalkeeper change for the second time this season: Joël Drommel has to give up his place to Yvon Mvogo. Cody Gakpo will also return to the team and Joey Veerman will replace the suspended Érick Gutiérrez. The game kicks off at 9 p.m. at King Power Stadium.
Mvogo was given a chance by Schmidt once before this calendar year, on February 5 in the league match against AZ. That ended dramatically for the Swiss, who made an error of judgment with a long ball and thus played a bad role for PSV in the decisive goal by Jesper Karlsson (1-2 loss). With that, Mvogo had immediately forfeited his credit and since then Drommel has been under the bar again.
