Arne Slot has announced his line-up for the first quarterfinal in the Conference League against Slavia Prague. The Feyenoord coach has opted for almost the same eleven names for the game in De Kuip as last Saturday against Willem II (2-0 win). The biggest question mark for the line-up was who would be in the point of attack: Bryan Linssen is preferred over Cyriel Dessers, unlike in recent weeks. The match will start at 6:45 PM.

Slot was mainly in the dark on Wednesday about filling in the striker position. Dessers was indeed present at the press conference, but according to his trainer, that did not mean that he would also have a base place against Slavia Prague. “The good news is that we have two strikers who perform in such a way that this discussion is constantly going on. That’s very nice. Not only for me, but also for Feyenoord.”

The trainer also revealed that Ofir Marciano would be preferred over Valentin Cojocaru, who was recently temporarily taken over from Ukrainian SK Dnipro-1. “He is a good keeper,” said Slot, “but you are not going to change the keeper based on the opponent.” The coach does not have access to first goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, Lutsharel Geertruida and Philippe Sandler. In contrast to the duel with Willem II, Jens Toornstra was found fit enough to participate, but starts on the bench.

Line-up Feyenoord: Marciano, Pedersen, Trauner, Senesi, Malacia; Aursnes, Kokcu, Til; Nelson, Linssen, Sinisterra

Lineup Slavia Prague: Kolar, Bah, Kudela, Kacharaba, Dorley; Talovirov, Holez; Schranz, Traore, Olayinka; sor
