PSV has deliberately misled the supporters of FC Copenhagen with a cunning trick. The Danish fans set off fireworks in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, but were at the wrong hotel. According to Mario Götze, it was a predetermined plan by the people of Eindhoven, who deliberately parked the players bus at the wrong hotel. The PSV squad stayed at a hotel a few kilometers away in the city.

In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, fans of FC Copenhagen tried to keep the PSV selection awake in the run-up to the return in the Conference League. The Danish supporters set off fireworks, but were at the wrong Radisson hotel. The PSV squad stayed in another hotel of the chain in a different part of the city, which kept unsuspecting hotel guests from sleeping and not the PSV players.

The media department of the Eindhoven club also got wind of the clumsy action of the Copenhagen fans and shared a photo on Twitter of a well-known meme with the various hotels of Radisson. According to Götze, it was a premeditated plan. “We had parked the bus at another hotel. That was conscious,” said the German after the eighth final, which was won 0-4, at the PSV club channel. “I got it. But I slept very well.”

There was also less good news to regret for PSV. After the game, supporters buses of the club were pelted by fans of Copenhagen, it writes Eindhovens Dagblad† In total, about 1,100 fans of the Eindhoven club were present at the game, of which two hundred traveled with buses from Supporters Association PSV. After the game, they fell victim to the rowdy Copenhagen fans, who destroyed two of the three buses with stones.
