Ryan Gravenberch may exchange Ajax for Bayern Munich, it writes General Newspaper† According to Friday’s edition, the German superpower is “one of the clubs that Gravenberch is strongly targeting” and “a miracle is now needed” to extend the midfielder’s contract until mid-2023. Talks between club and player about a longer collaboration are currently almost at a standstill.

According to the General Newspaper the sale of Gravenberch in the coming transfer period is a ‘bitter necessity’ in order not to end up empty-handed again and to further increase the deficit on the transfer balance. The almost transfer-free Noussair Mazraoui talks to top clubs, while André Onana has already found it in Internazionale. The goalkeeper’s contract also comes to an end.

Gravenberch did not seem ready in January for a transfer abroad. “Everyone knows that I am not finished learning at Ajax”, he told Ajax Life Magazine† “’But everything I say here affects the negotiations. Luckily I don’t have to worry about that much. That is Mino’s (Raiola, ed.) task, but everyone keeps talking to me about it.”

Yet it is Gravenberch himself who decides whether he stays or whether he leaves. “Correct. It’s my choice. I follow my choice according to what I want,” said Gravenberch, who listens to his father for advice rather than Raiola. “Haha, one hundred percent. I often talk to people about my game. Sometimes I have contact with Mino, I think on average three times a month. I have more contact with Jose Fortes Rodriguez. He is more concerned with me.”

Mike Verweij, journalist from The Telegraph, recently believed that in the case of Gravenberch, who turns twenty in May, Ajax need not fear a transfer-free exodus. “Ajax has one big advantage with the Gravenberch family: normally it is a family that thinks that Ryan cannot walk out the door for free. I think the aim is to sell it next summer.”
