The future of Paulo Dybala is under discussion in Italy. The Argentine attacker will run out of his contract with Juventus after this season and from January 1 he can talk to interested clubs about a possible switch. Beppe Marotta, CEO of frontrunner Inter, is therefore keeping a close eye on the situation around Dybala, even though the 28-year-old player’s management has not yet been discussed. La Vecchia Signora.

“It is quite normal that when a contract expires that there are rumors,” Marotta concluded in an interview with Corriere della Sera. “Any ambitious club scans the opportunities that open up in the transfer market, especially when the bar is set high in terms of attracting players, such as Inter. In any case, we have to look at all options. Both Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi ( Both from Sassuolo, ed.) are on our list, for example. Those are great talents and it is very normal that we follow those players closely.”

The aforementioned Italian newspaper added that Inter’s technical leadership believes in Operation Dybala, although there are still some bears on the road for the title contender. The player himself, who earns ten million euros annually, must first and foremost be prepared to exchange Juventus for Inter, while also looking at how the Argentinian can fit into the roster of trainer Simone Inzaghi. It is said that the ambitious Marotta is already busy behind the scenes with getting the financial house of Inter in order, in order to bring Dybala to Milan.

According to various Italian media, Inter will say goodbye to Arturo Vidal and Matías Vecino after this season, which already saves nine million euros in salary. The interim departure of Christian Eriksen has already saved 7.5 million euros. Marotta would also be willing to offer Alexis Sanchez a severance payment of 4.5 million euros, saving Inter another 2.5 million euros. Inzaghi and associates are also examining whether Dybala is really necessary or whether a replacement for 34-year-old Edin Dzeko is preferred.
