Alanyaspor and Fenerbahçe balanced each other on Saturday evening. The team of coach Alfons Groenendijk fell behind in the 72nd minute, but just under ten minutes later the score was equalized: 1-1. Due to the division of points, Fenerbahçe remains in fifth place in the Süper Lig, while Antalyaspor is fifteenth.

Trainer Ismail Kartal had cleared a starting spot for Ferdi Kadioglu, who took a yellow card after half an hour of play and was taken off in the 85th minute. In the first act, Fenerbahçe barely appeared on the scene: not a single shot was produced. Antalyaspor created the necessary opportunities, although they failed to convert even one of the five attempts into a goal. The game was only broken up halfway through the second half.

On the left side of the field, José Sosa was allowed to aim for a free kick. The midfielder produced a dangerous spinning ball, which was hit by no one and suddenly fell in: 0-1. Still, the relatively unexpected goal turned out not to be enough to take the win, as Groenendijk’s team came alongside nine minutes before the end of regular time. Again a standard situation preceded the hit. After a free kick from the right side, goalkeeper Berke Özer made a complete mistake, after which the ball landed on the edge of the sixteen at the feet of Dogukan Sinik after a carom. The latter pulled out convincingly and made it 1-1.
