Deyovaisio Zeefuik will almost certainly continue his career at Blackburn Rovers. BILD and some media in England are reporting an imminent transition from Hertha BSC’s right-back to current number two in the Championship. It concerns a rental for the rest of the season, with a possible option to buy.

Zeefuik, 23, made the switch from FC Groningen to Hertha BSC in the summer of 2020 for an amount of approximately four million euros. His appearances in the shirt of the Berlin club, 34, were, according to BILD, ‘changeable’. Blackburn Rovers will take over the salary of the Dutchman for the next six months and can purchase an option to buy reportedly 3.5 million euros at the end of the season.

Zeefuik appeared at the starting signal only seven times this season in all competitions. The departure of Pal Dardai in November also did not turn around. Interim coach Tayfun Korkut put Ajax’s youth exponent only once in the base. Technical director Fredi Bobic was therefore open to an interesting proposal.

A Dutchman is currently under contract with Blackburn Rovers: Jan Paul van Hecke, who is hired from Brighton & Hove Albion. Tony Mowbray’s team is one of the candidates to achieve (direct) promotion to the Premier League this season. They are only three points behind leaders Bournemouth.
