Ryan Gravenberch’s name has been dropped in a conversation between Mino Raiola and Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved. The agent was in Turin to attend the Golden Boy gala and the Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, who works for, among others, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Raiola and Nedved reported having dinner together on Tuesday evening. During that dinner, several of Raiola’s clients were discussed.

Nedved has made it known to Raiola that Juventus is charmed by Gravenberch’s ‘physical and technical qualities’. The name of the nineteen-year-old midfielder of Ajax has been associated with Juventus more often in the past. For the time being, Gravenberch is still in possession of a contract with Ajax that expires in mid-2023. Ajax would like to extend that contract, but Mike Verweij – Ajax watcher for The Telegraph – said earlier that a limited transfer fee would have to be agreed.

Incidentally, Raiola and Nedved did not only talk about Gravenberch. Nedved is also said to have inquired about Paul Pogba, who has an expiring contract with Manchester United. Bringing back the French midfielder would count as a ‘dream’ for Juventus. Pogba’s name has also previously been linked to Real Madrid and Barcelona, but at the moment neither of the Spanish superpowers seem interested. Sport writes on Wednesday morning that Xavi personally has put an end to the possible arrival of Pogba.

Raiola and Nedved would also have discussed the situation of Matthijs de Ligt. The agent did not rule out the possibility that the defender will leave Juventus at the end of this season. Raiola also sat around the table with a delegation from Barcelona earlier this week. With Joan Laporta, Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruijf, Raiola is said to have talked about Erling Braut Haaland and Noussair Mazraoui.
