PSV plans to pay tribute to Max Verstappen in the Philips Stadium, it knows Eindhovens Dagblad. The Formula 1 driver, who claimed the world title in a blood-curdling race on Sunday, is an outspoken supporter of the people of Eindhoven. Due to the corona situation, the ceremony has been postponed for the time being.

At the moment, as is known, no football supporters are welcome in the Dutch stadiums. PSV does not see a tribute for Verstappen in an empty Philips Stadium: the Red Bull driver would then wave at the most on the center spot with a bunch of flowers to empty seats and a number of cloths.

As soon as the corona measures allow it, PSV still wants to invite Verstappen to a ceremony. In addition, the agendas of the club and the car racer should also be aligned. The new season in Formula 1 starts on March 20.
