Young Ajax booked a surprising and handsome victory at De Graafschap on Friday evening. Naci Ünüvar, Christian Rasmussen and Ar’Jany Martha took the win: 1-3. With this, Jong Ajax takes over third place in the Kitchen Champion Division from De Graafschap, which descends to fifth place. The leaders FC Volendam and Excelsior won their match and are therefore running away from the Doetinchemmers. Furthermore, ADO Den Haag took a hard hit against FC Dordrecht (5-1). Ricardo Kishna scored his first official goal in 2217 days in that game. It was more than six years ago that the ex-Ajacied scored for Lazio.

De Graafschap – Ajax Reserves 1-3
After a beautiful tribute to Simon Kistemaker, who died this week, De Graafschap started the match. In the opening phase, the home team was not involved at all and Naci Ünüvar gave Jong Ajax the lead in the 24th minute. The left attacker was stabbed by Kian Fitz-Jim, hidde Jurjus cut out with a nice foot movement and calmly scored: 0-1. Reinier Robbemond intervened hard and made two substitutions in the first half. That helped, because De Graafschap equalized on the stroke of half-time via Joey Konings. The striker crawled in front of his direct opponent and was able to tap in a low cross from close by: 1-1. In the second half, De Graafschap pushed hard, but it was the team from Amsterdam who struck in the final phase. Christian Rasmussen was launched by Martha and controlled Jurjus: 1-2. Martha made it 1-3 herself by coming in from the right and hitting the far corner hard: 1-3.

ADO The Hague – FC Dordrecht 5-1
ADO Den Haag already made short work of FC Dordrecht in the first half. Sem Steijn headed in early in the game from a cross from the right Vicente Besuijen: 1-0. After that, Ricardo Kishna seemed to lose the ball in his dribble, but the attacker luckily passed his opponent and then controlled the ball into the far corner: 2-0. Thomas Verheydt scored the 3-0 moments later after a low cross from Besuijen: 3-0. Steijn made it 4-0 on the stroke of half-time by skilfully passing the ball over the sliding goalkeeper Liam Bossin. After the break, ADO’s game was less sparkling, although the fifth goal did fall fifteen minutes before the end. Steijn signed for a hat-trick by scoring a beautiful free kick: 5-0. Dordrecht did something in return via Tim Holscher, who took advantage of a wonderful heel from Stijn Meijer: 5-1.

FC Volendam – FC Den Bosch 3-0
The league-leader finally ended a run of three games without a win last Monday, but was initially overrun by the visitors. Bossche wingers Soufyan Ahannach and Roy Kuijpers put Filip Stankovic to work before the home team took the lead. A nice pass by Robert Mühren was picked up by Gaetano Oristiano and the Internazionale’s mercenary shot close. Fifteen minutes after the break, Mühren himself contributed. The ball luckily landed at his feet and the striker rammed in the 2-0. Twenty minutes from time, Mühren also made his second, by shooting in completely free from a cross by Daryl van Mieghem.

Excelsior – Young FC Utrecht 2-1
A handy move by Eros Maddy gave Jong FC Utrecht the lead after twenty minutes. In his assumption, the striker turned away from his opponent and finished it up close: 0-1. Excelsior came close to equalizing after more than half an hour, but Redouan El Yaakoubi’s header landed on top of the bar, and miraculously, it hit the bar one more time. Shortly after the break, the Kralingers came back into the game. The preparatory work was done by Reuven Niemeijer, whose shot was half cracked. Thijs Dallinga reacted alertly and slipped in from close range: 1-1. Excelsior went on the hunt for the winning goal and a streak from Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill went just wide. Nine minutes before the end, the liberating goal came thanks to Marouan Azarkan, who scored with a falling header: 2-1. In the final phase, Dallinga dropped out injured at Excelsior after a contact moment.

MVV Maastricht – Young PSV 1-2
The first danger in the match came from Young PSV player Simon Colyn, who scored a free kick on the crossbar. Shortly afterwards, Mitchy Ntelo thought to score on the other side, but the ball was cleared at the last moment. Just before half time, the MVV striker succeeded in that. That was thanks to Mart Remans, who headed the ball through to the far post, where Ntelo only had to drop the ball on the head: 1-0. Young PSV managed to completely turn the game around after the break. Mathijs Tielemans cut his left leg in the 51st minute and placed the ball in from the edge of the penalty area: 1-1. Fifteen minutes before the end, the Eindhoven team scored again. Johan Bakayoko dribbled in from the right and placed the ball beautifully in the far corner: 1-2.

FC Eindhoven – Young AZ 1-0
It took Joey Sleegers nineteen seconds to put the opening goal on the scoreboard. The attacker headed in from a cross from Barnabás Rácz: 1-0. Sleegers was also by far the most dangerous man on the field afterwards. The left winger raced effortlessly past Richard Sedlacek, but then ran into goalkeeper Sem Westerveld. Twenty minutes before the end, the keeper of Jong AZ also saved on a header by Jort van der Sande. Jelle Duin tried on behalf of the Alkmaarders with a volley, which was caught by Nigel Bertrams. Two minutes before the end, Maarten Peijnenburg came close to making it 2-0, but his header was turned by Westerveld.

TOP Oss – Telstar 1-1
In the first half hour there was no real better team; the opening goal came out of nowhere. After a pass from Rick Stuy van den Herik, Ossche winger Jearl Margaritha decided to take a stab at it and saw his shot end in the far corner: 1-0. It was a welcome goal for Bob Peeters’s team to find themselves in nineteenth place before the game. Yet Telstar came alongside shortly after the break. Cas Dijkstra received the ball on the edge of the sixteen-meter area and curled beautifully into the left corner. The game then returned to its previous pace; no more goals were scored.

Roda JC Kerkrade – VVV-Venlo 0-0
The Limburg get-together needed 24 minutes to wake up the viewer. Roda midfielder Patrick Pflücke shook the post of the enemy goal with his attempt. There were no real big opportunities and both Jurgen Streppel and Jos Luhukay will have demanded more from their teams. In the second half, the game picture was largely the same, except for a great chance for Angelo Cijntje ten minutes before half-time. However, the game remained largely mediocre and therefore did not deserve a goal.
