Thanks to a late goal by Cyriel Dessers, Feyenoord escaped Sparta Rotterdam (0-1) on Sunday afternoon. The city derby was hardly worth seeing, but still produced a winner in injury time, when the substitute striker was in the right place to work in a corner from Orkun Kökçü. The grapes were a lot more sour for Bryan Linssen, who killed a big chance and had to make way for Dessers after more than an hour of play.
Linssen appeared in front of the cameras of after the game with a big goatee ESPN. “You sometimes have games that you lose and you don’t want to talk about.
