Ronald Koeman has announced the line-up of Barcelona for the game against Dinamo Kiev in the Champions League. Barcelona is committed to achieving a result. The Catalans lost their first two group matches to Bayern Munich and Benfica and have to fear wintering in the largest European club tournament. Kick-off will take place at 6:45 PM at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona will want to build on last Sunday’s 3-1 win over Valencia in LaLiga in the Champions League match against Dinamo Kiev. Ansu Fati graced his comeback in the starting lineup after a serious knee injury with a goal. The victory over loose Che gives Ronald Koeman the necessary air. Due to painful defeats against Bayern Munich (0-3) and Benfica (3-0), Barcelona started the new Champions League season with a false start. The double encounter in Group E of the billion-dollar ball with Dinamo Kiev will be crucial for the Catalans to keep the hopes of European wintering alive.

Koeman cannot rely on Pedri and Ronald Araújo against Dinamo Kiev, who are both missing due to a hamstring injury. In addition, Eric García has been suspended for his red card against Benfica. As usual, Marc-André ter Stegen defends the goal of los Azulgrana. Jordi Alba returned from injury against Valencia and fills in the left back position. With García’s suspension, Clément Lenglet is at the heart of the defense with Gerard Pique and Óscar Mingueza, with Sergino Dest in good form starting at right-back.

The midfield is formed by Gavi, Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong. That means Sergi Roberto starts on the bench. Ansu Fati also starts from the reserve bench. He sees how the vanguard is formed by Luuk de Jong and Memphis Depay. The latter will more often come from the left side.

Barcelona line-up: Ter Stegen; Dest, Mingueza, Pique, Lenglet, Jordi Alba; Busquets, F. De Jong, Gavi; L. De Jong, Depay
