Internazionale will attempt to sign Alexandre Lacazette or Luka Jovic in the coming transfer window, assures La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian champions want to prepare for a possible departure of Alexis Sanchez and see welcome reinforcements in the attackers of Arsenal and Real Madrid respectively. Sánchez cannot live with his role as a substitute and has urged the club management to leave.

Inter sees nothing in an inexperienced striker as a replacement for Sanchez and has therefore set its sights on the arrival of Lacazette or Jovic. Although the latter is young at 23, he has international experience and is described by the above-mentioned Italian sports newspaper as the ‘ideal solution’. The Serbian striker has only appeared in six games in all competitions this season, with a total of 84 minutes played. Moreover, Jovic fits within the financial picture of Inter, which does not apply to Lacazette.

The Arsenal striker, who is also not assured of a starting spot, has an annual salary of eleven million euros in London. In comparison: Jovic will earn five million euros with his contract that runs until 2025. Lacazette’s contract expires next summer. In the event of a transfer to Inter, the Frenchman will therefore have to agree that his salary will be more than halved. The Italian top club does have a two or three-year contract in return, which should convince thirty-year-old Lacazette.

In addition to the above two, Inter also hopes to strengthen itself with Nahitan Nández. The Cagliari midfielder was already looked at extensively last summer, but had to see how all priority then went to the arrival of Denzel Dumfries. Nevertheless, the Uruguayan remains in the picture of i Nerazzurri to suit. Nández is seen as the ideal backup behind Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolò Barella and can be picked up for a pittance. Also for his salary of two million euros, Inter does not have to leave it.
