Feyenoord won a closed practice match against De Graafschap on Wednesday. Reiss Nelson, who is hired from Arsenal and who according to Arne Slot had a conditional deficit, made his official debut and played 45 minutes. The leading role was reserved for Mikael Johnsen with two goals, while Cyriel Dessers also scored a goal: 3-0.

Marino Pusic was in charge of the first team of Feyenoord against De Graafschap. Slot’s assistant coach posted Nelson on the left wing and saw his team hardly create any opportunities in the first half. However, a goal by Dessers was disallowed for offside. After the break, Johnsen, who was taken over from Rosenborg on a free transfer by Feyenoord, came in for Nelson.

The Norwegian attacking midfielder scored twice within ten minutes of his entrance. First he tapped in a low cross from Dessers, and then with a shot from distance to put the 2-0 on the scoreboard. Dessers also scored in the seventieth minute. The Belgian striker took advantage of a good job from Noah Naujoks, who intercepted the ball and set it free in front of the keeper. Dessers rounded off cool-bloodedly after a hood move: 3-0.
