Tottenham Hotspur have done excellent business in the Conference League’s second group stage match. The team of trainer Nuno Espírito Santo was 5-1 too strong for NS Mura at home. Substitute Harry Kane was the big man with a hat trick. Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celco accounted for the other London goals; Ziga Kous provided the honorary goal in a beautiful way. The home team determined the game in the first half, but failed to expand the score after the strong opening phase. Tottenham started weak in the second half and was immediately presented with the bill. A deflected corner came at the feet of Kous, who did not hesitate and shot the ball on the shoe behind goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini: 2-1.

The tension seemed to return to the match due to Mura’s connection goal. For Nuno, however, the 2-1 was the signal to bring Kane, Heung Min-Son and Lucas Moura inside the lines after an hour of play. The triple substitution had an immediate effect, as the Brazilian attacker served Kane with a tailor-made cross. The captain then shot in flawlessly: 3-1. Fifteen minutes before the end, the margin was further increased. Son kept the overview and served Kane, after which the star player of Tottenham could simply slide in: 4-1. The final chord was again for Kane. On a pass from Lo Celso, Kane’s hat-trick was a fact: 5-1.
