In the half-time of the Champions League match visiting Sporting Portugal, Ajax is well ahead with 1-3. A blemish on the evening until now was the goal against Paulinho, who took advantage of a big mistake by Remko Pasveer. In ‘s studio RTL7 Dirk Kuyt and Wesley Sneijder are critical of the Ajax goalkeeper, who replaces the injured Maarten Stekelenburg.

“Ajax did well, a shame about the goal alone,” says Kuyt. “Maybe it’s the tension, he makes the wrong choice to come out, that’s why he doesn’t stand on his feet. This is just a mistake.” Sneijder goes one step further. “This is a very big mistake, at this level … There is nothing wrong and it is 1-2 by the keeper. I bet that the keeper at my amateur club DHSC is better.”
