Erik ten Hag has announced the line-up of Ajax for the Eredivisie match with PEC Zwolle. In the absence of the slightly injured Davy Klaassen, the coach has Steven Berghuis start at number 10. Maarten Stekelenburg is also not present; his honors are performed by Remko Pasveer.

The absence of Stekelenburg is not entirely unexpected, as he had also been missing from the first group training after the international match since Wednesday. There is a four-man defense in front of Pasveer, consisting of Noussair Mazraoui, Jurriën Timber, Daley Blind and Devyne Rensch. Lisandro Martínez is missing in the central heart, while Nicolás Tagliafico will not play in the left back position. Both names only returned from the international match with Argentina on Friday afternoon.

In midfield, Ten Hag opts for a block with Edson Álvarez and Ryan Gravenberch. Berghuis gets the chance to show himself as an attacking midfielder. Antony and captain Dusan Tadic are the wingers during the duel with PEC Zwolle. Sebastien Haller is in the lead. It is also striking that Berghuis, Antony, Haller and Tadic are together in the line-up of trainer Erik ten Hag for the first time this season.

Ajax setup: feather; Mazraoui, Timber, Blind, Rensch; Álvarez, Berghuis, Gravenberch; Anthony, Haller, Tadic.
