Noa Lang once again made a big impression in the Jupiler Pro League on Friday evening. The Club Brugge attacker opened the score in a brilliant way against KV Oostende and helped his team on their way to a simple victory. Lang also made his second in the final phase: 3-0. Club Brugge is at the top with fourteen points from seven matches, but can still be surpassed by Union Sint-Gillis this round. KRC Genk also has fewer loss points, but has played two fewer matches.

From the starting signal, Club Brugge, where Bas Dost had to sit on the bench in favor of Charles De Ketelaere, opened the attack. Lang’s opening goal followed in the 23rd minute. The left attacker took a beautiful long ball from Kamal Sowah beautifully with his outside and was thus freed from his direct opponent. Lang remained extremely calm in front of the goal and finished it off with a marker: 1-0.

Club Brugge were much stronger and found themselves in surplus in the last minute of the first half, when Lang was pulled down by Steven Fortes in a dangerous counterattack. The defender of Ostend received his second yellow card for this. Eleven minutes after the break, Hans Vanaken shot the home team into a safe haven by filling in a cross from Clinton Mata: 2-0. Club Brugge had huge opportunities for more, but only took advantage of them in the 81st minute. Lang was able to tap a low cross from Vanaken at the far post in complete freedom. Substitute Dost saw a goal disallowed for offside in the final minute.
