Donny van de Beek got the laughs on his hand on Instagram on Thursday evening. The Manchester United midfielder apparently spotted his former team-mate Hakim Ziyech in Justin Hewitt while watching the World Cup of Darts, who is participating in the darts tournament along with Sean Negrette on behalf of Gibraltar. It’s no secret that Van de Beek is a big fan of darts.
“Apart from football, I play a lot of darts with friends. I also watch a lot of darts on television. Especially when the Dutch throw. So that is something that I also like,” said Van de Beek in conversation with Ajax Life. In Mindaugas Barauskas – participant on behalf of Lithuania – he recognized singer Danny Froger. In Hamburg, Germany, national teams compete in teams of two darters for the world title. On behalf of the Netherlands, Michael van Gerwen and Dirk van Duijvenbode participate in the World Cup of Darts.
