PSV’s schedule in the group stage of the Europa League was announced on Saturday morning. The team of trainer Roger Schmidt starts on Thursday, September 16 with a home game against Real Sociedad and closes the group stage on Thursday, December 9 with a visit to the club from LaLiga.
PSV failed to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League this week. After a 2-1 defeat in the first game against Benfica, the return ended this week in a goalless draw in front of the home crowd. The Eindhoven team played with one more man for an hour, but failed to break down the Portuguese wall.
