De Graafschap has won the top match against NAC Breda and the reunion with Ralf Seuntjens. Goals from Joey Konings and Devin Haen won the Super farmers at De Vijverberg 2-0. Young Ajax simultaneously booked its first win (2-3) of the Kitchen Champion Division season visiting FC Den Bosch, which at the same time ran into its first loss of points. The game between ADO Den Haag and FC Emmen started half an hour later, because there were problems with the light in the Cars Jeans Stadium. In the end FC Emmen handed the club from the Hofstad its first defeat: 1-2.

De Graafschap – NAC Breda 2-0
Despite the fact that De Graafschap was the better team in the initial phase, Pjotr Kestens created the first danger on behalf of NAC Breda. The first big chance, however, was for Joey Konings, whose bet was removed from the line. It was Konings who opened the score after 37 minutes, after being served by Julian Lelieveld. Shortly after the break, Nick Olij prevented Jonathan Opoku from doubling the margin. After Jeffry Fortes had shot over, Jethro Mashart made sure that it remained at 1-0 by trying to get Danny Verbeek off the line. NAC was very close to the equalizer shortly before the end, when Ted van de Pavert headed over the crossbar of his own goal. Shortly before the end, substitute Devin Haen put an end to all uncertainty by scoring the 2-0.

ADO The Hague – FC Emmen 1-2
The kick-off of the game between ADO Den Haag and FC Emmen was delayed half an hour, because there were problems with the light in the Cars Jeans Stadium. FC Emmen then took the lead early on. Jeredy Hilterman headed the ball after a cross from Peter van Ooijen. In the remainder of the first half, there were both opportunities to note: Boy Kemper appeared on behalf of the home team in a promising position, while Lorenzo Burnet and Rui Mendes created danger on behalf of FC Emmen. Almost immediately after the break, ADO tied the score with a header by Vicente Besuijen on a pass from Amar Catic. After Aaron Meijers headed wide, FC Emmen took the lead fifteen minutes before the end. Hilterman was again accurate with the head, this time on a pass from Mendes. Van Ooijen then hit the bar, but there was no change in the 1-2 score.

FC Den Bosch – Ajax Reserves 2-3
After just one minute, Charlie Setford – who made his debut as the youngest goalkeeper ever in Young Ajax – had to concede a goal against. Roy Kuijpers got rid of two opponents in the penalty area and hit the target in the short corner. With 22 minutes on the clock, Max de Waal cleared the gap of Jong Ajax. The start of the second half was delayed, because there was damage to the net. When that was repaired, FC Den Bosch’s first chance came after a curious moment. Referee Martin Pérez allowed the home team to take a free kick for offside in the half of Young Ajax and took advantage of this by setting Kuijpers free for Setford, but the goalkeeper came out on top. De Waal then gave Jong Ajax the lead and celebrated in front of the FC Den Bosch crowd, who treated him to a beer shower. Substitute Naci Ünüvar made the decision twenty minutes before the end, by scoring the 1-3 from close by. Shortly before the end, Ünüvar also hit the crossbar from a great distance and in injury time Kuijpers scored his second goal of the evening, but FC Den Bosch did not come closer than 2-3.

FC Dordrecht – Young FC Utrecht 2-2
After an entertaining initial phase, the duel at De Krommedijk suddenly exploded after twenty minutes. The starting gun was a chance for Nick Venema, who shot over. FC Dordrecht then took the lead via Stijn Meijer, who was brought into position after a long pass by Seydine N’Diaye. Four minutes later, the visitors tied the score when Venema appeared in the penalty area after a nice heel by Mohamed Mallahi. With 32 minutes on the clock, FC Dordrecht took the lead again with a good header from N’Diaye. Shortly after the break, that lead was relinquished again, because goalkeeper Liam Bossin did not process a shot by Oussama Alou properly and enabled Venema to shoot in the rebound. In the final phase, Ruggero Mannes had another good opportunity, but because his bet went wide, there was no change in the tie.

Excelsior – FC Volendam 1-1
The first two big chances of the duel between Excelsior and FC Volendam came from a header. First, Marouan Azarkan headed on behalf of Excelsior on the post, after which goalkeeper Stijn van Gassel saved on a header by Damon Mirani on the other side. Thijs Dallinga gave Excelsior the lead shortly before half-time by shooting the rebound from a bet by Reuven Niemeijer against the ropes. FC Volendam tied the score before half-time with a great volley from Robert Mühren. In the second half, Excelsior was initially the closest to a goal: a goal by Niemeijer was disallowed, while Dallinga hit the post. On the other hand, Ibrahim El Kadiri escaped Excelsior’s defense, but his shot went over. In an exciting final phase, there were no more goals.

MVV Maastricht – Helmond Sport 3-2
Jelle Goselink had two great chances on behalf of Helmond in the opening phase, but it was MVV that struck. Mitchy Ntelo was first launched by Sven Blummel, to quietly slide the ball in: 1-0. After nineteen minutes, the goalscorer signed for his second, by intercepting a wrong wide pass from Jellert van Landschoot: 2-0. Helmond Sport came back via two headers from Goselink, who headed home from crosses from Dean van der Sluys and Dylan Seys: 2-2. MVV showed resilience via Ntelo, who crowned his hat-trick fifteen minutes before the end. The striker did that by cleverly placing the ball from outside the penalty area in the far corner: 3-2.

Telstar – Roda JC Kerkrade 3-4
The game started well for Roda, who took the lead via a rebound from Niek Vossebelt, after a shot by Dylan Vente had turned: 0-1. Then Telstar came back strong with three goals in the first half. First Cas Dijkstra walked in an excellent cross from Glynor Plet. Dijkstra prepared the second goal with a beautiful heel on Rashaan Fernandes, who finished it and headed the ball in front of Plet’s feet moments later: 3-1. Roda fought back strongly in the second half. Xian Emmers hit the post, after which the rebound fell in front of Stefano Marzo: 3-2. The Limburgers came in 3-3 thanks to a hard shot by Emmers and also managed to win in injury time via Fabian Serrarens. The striker hurt his ex-club a lot by filling the ball hard through the middle: 3-4.
