Vitesse drew a draw in the final minutes on Thursday evening when visiting Anderlecht. The team of coach Thomas Letsch thought the play-off match to win Conference League participation thanks to a late goal by substitute Oussama Tannane, but had to allow Yari Verschaeren equalizer in the ninetieth minute: 3-3. In stoppage time Anderlecht also shot a penalty on the crossbar in the person of Lior Refaelov. Next Thursday is the return in Arnhem.

Anderlecht started the game strongly and took the lead in the tenth minute. Francis Amuzu first headed into the body of Riechedly Bazoer and then shot into the rebound at Markus Schubert.
