Romelu Lukaku will definitely return to Chelsea, the club from London announced on Thursday evening through the official channels. The center striker comes over from Internazionale and signs a multi-year contract with Chelsea. Previously, Lukaku was under contract with . between 2011 and 2014 the Blues. Chelsea are reportedly paying an amount of around 115 million euros. This makes the 28-year-old striker the most expensive purchase in Chelsea’s club history. With a net annual salary of twelve to thirteen million euros, excluding bonuses, Lukaku will also become the highest paid player, it was previously announced.

The transfer from Lukaku to Chelsea has been coming for some time. He was spotted at the airport in Milan and he himself announced that he would come with news to the fans of Inter. Within the Italian camp, Chelsea’s interest in Lukaku led to great unrest for a long time. The attacker was already under contract with the six-time winner of the Premier League between 2011 and 2014, but only made 15 appearances in the main squad.
