The acquisition of FC Den Bosch has been completed, the club from the Kitchen Champion Division reports via the official channels. The majority of the shares have been owned by the American investment group Pacific Media Group (PMG). In addition, four new investors are welcomed at FC Den Bosch, which has thus been saved from financial ruin.

The Pacific Media Group, Partners Path Capital, Randy Frankel, Chien Lee and Krishen Sud have acquired more than fifty percent of the shares. The so-called ‘golden priority share’, which guarantees, among other things, the name, club colours, club culture and location, remains the property of Stichting Behoud Voetbal ‘s-Hertogenbosch, FC Den Bosch reports.

PMG, led by CEO Paul Conway, also previously invested in KV Oostende (Belgium), AS Nancy (France), Barnsley (England), Esbjerg (Denmark) and FC Thun (Switzerland). “We see a lot of potential in FC Den Bosch and the city,” says Conway. “FC Den Bosch already represents a club where youth actually get a chance. We want to further expand that reputation. And talent development does not stop at the stadium gates. Of course we also want to become champions one day. top sport works. But in addition to sporting ambitions, we also have social ambitions. That is why we do not want artificial, short-lived success.”

Rob Kleijzen, member of the supervisory board at FC Den Bosch, is pleased with the investment in Den Bosch. “In addition to financial resources, the investors also bring knowledge and experience with them. We think the combination with Forza FC Den Bosch, a group consisting of (local) FC Den Bosch supporters, is ideal.” Club chairman Rob Almering adds: “FC Den Bosch cannot and does not want to afford unrealistic adventures. With the new investors, who have an excellent reputation, we are looking for how we can further increase the value of FC Den Bosch.” Earlier, Wesley Sneijder and business partner Ebert Dollevoet were also interested in buying FC Den Bosch, but that came to nothing.
