Abdoulaye Kamara continues his career at Borussia Dortmund. The only sixteen-year-old midfielder from Guinea makes the transfer-free from Paris Saint-Germain to the German superpower. The African talent signed a multi-year contract in Dortmund on Tuesday. The medical examination revealed no problems with Kamara, it is said.

“Abdoulaye is an extremely talented player who is still very young and recently trained with the Paris Saint-Germain first team,” player affairs chief Sebastian Kehl said in a statement on the club’s website. “We hope he can develop further among adult players and take the next step.” Dortmund added in the press statement that Kamara feels most comfortable in the role of a defensive midfielder.

The still very young Kamara made a total of three games on behalf of the Under 19 team in the UEFA Youth League during his period at PSG. In addition, there are two appearances on behalf of that youth team in the regular competition. Kamara was recently allowed to train with the main force a few times from trainer Mauricio Pochettino. However, the brand new Dortmund acquisition did not get playing time during matches from the Argentine coach.
