The transfer soap around Kamaldeen Sulemana has come to an end. The nineteen-year-old Ghanaian is making the switch from FC Nordsjaelland to Stade Rennes, sources confirm to Fabrizio Romano. Sulemana passed the medical examination on Friday and has signed a contract until mid-2026.

Stade Rennes pays fifteen million euros plus a small amount of variables for the left wing striker. For a similar amount, Ajax had already reached an agreement with Nordsjaelland for a long time, but the team from Amsterdam ultimately made a mistake. Sulemana was already personally around with Ajax, but postponed his medical examination twice, after which Ajax decided on Thursday to pull the plug on the transfer, reported The Telegraph.

Manchester United had also already agreed with Nordsjaelland about Sulemana, who ultimately chose Stade Rennes. Sulemana only played for a year and a half at the Danish top club, which picked him up from Ghana. The wing striker made a big impression in Denmark in a year and a half and is stranded in 43 official games for Nordsjaelland, in which he scored 14 times and provided 8 assists.

The hyper-ambitious Stade Rennes is active in the transfer market and already reported to AZ for Teun Koopmeiners this week. The captain of the Alkmaarders chooses between Stade Rennes and Atalanta, which is also interested. Furthermore, the number six of last season in the Ligue 1 reported with an offer of eighteen million euros at Ajax for Edson Álvarez, as it was known. The Telegraph report on Friday. Ajax has rejected the offer.
