FC Utrecht has officially reported to FC Twente for Queensy Menig, so you know TC Tubantia to report. The Tukkers recently activated the option in the expiring contract of the 25-year-old attacker, which means that he will remain in Enschede until mid-2022. However, many refused to negotiate a new agreement with FC Twente, making a departure an obvious choice.

FC Twente wanted to break open and extend Menig’s contract, but the negotiations came to nothing. For that reason, the Tukkers will have to get rid of the attacker next summer to be left with a transfer fee. FC Utrecht has now reported to FC Twente to bring in Menig.

Many were taken over by FC Twente from Nantes on a free transfer in the summer of 2019. The attacker had a difficult first season (1 goal and 4 assists in 13 official games), but has now had a strong year with 8 goals and 2 assists in 33 matches. Menig, trained by Ajax, previously wore the shirt of PEC Zwolle, Nantes and Oldham Athletic.

Lindon Selahi
FC Twente may see Lindon Selahi return next summer. The 22-year-old midfielder was rented out to Willem II in the past six months. Despite the fact that he came to sixteen league games in Tilburg, three of which as a basic player, it was decided not to use the option. Selahi is in possession of an expiring contract with FC Twente, although the Tukkers can extend the contract by another year through an option. It has not yet been decided whether this will happen, writes TC Tubantia.
