Fikayo Tomori makes the definitive switch to AC Milan, according to various Italian media, including Fabrizio Romano. The Italian top club will transfer 28.5 million euros to Chelsea for the 23-year-old center-back, who has been on loan at the San Siro for the past six months. Milan thus complies with the purchase option included in the lease.

Tomori has been playing in Milan since the end of January, where he immediately became an undisputed basic player. In total, the Englishman played 22 official matches for Milan, scoring 1 goal. Tomori and his club managed to secure a ticket for the Champions League on the final day of the Serie A. That gives Milan the financial scope to actively trade on the transfer market. For example, goalkeeper Mike Maignan was taken over from Lille OSC for thirteen million euros and talks are being held with Olivier Giroud, who will leave Chelsea on a free transfer.

The Londoners, in turn, are cleaning up this summer. In addition to Tomori and GIroud, the intention is also to say goodbye to Emerson Palmieri, Tiémoué Bakayoko and Davide Zappacosta. Emerson sat on the bench for most of the season, while Bakayoko and Zappacosta played on loan for Napoli and Genoa, respectively. According to Italian media, there is serious interest from Atalanta for Zappacosta, which has to yield eight million euros. A week ago Chelsea sold Victor Moses for five million euros to Spartak Moscow.
