Internazionale is negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain about Achraf Hakimi, among others La Gazzetta dello Sport and Fabrizio Romano. According to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, PSG has increased its bid for the 22-year-old right midfielder to 55 million euros. Internazionale, however, is thinking of an amount above 60 million euros.

On Friday evening there is frequent contact between the two European superpowers. Inter prefers not to lose Hakimi, but has to make sacrifices given the gigantic financial problems at the club. “According to the management, Hakimi is sacrificial”, says Willem Haak, an expert on Italian football. “He makes money quickly and is ‘only’ a right half.” Incidentally, Romano adds that Real Madrid has the first option to match any accepted offer for the Moroccan international and bring him back. The Royal however, has not yet shown any intention to do so.

Hakimi was taken over from Real by Inter a year ago for forty million euros. The right winger played a decisive role in the 3-5-2 system that Antonio Conte used during the past championship year at Inter. Hakimi played 37 of the 38 league games and was good for no less than 7 goals and 10 assists. At PSG he would compete with Alessandro Florenzi and Colin Dagba, who usually play the right wing in Paris.
