Ronald Koeman has survived the conversation with Barcelona chairman Joan Laporta. Koeman said goodbye to the Barcelona squad on Sunday morning. The Spanish top club played the last game of the season at Eibar (0-1 win) on Saturday evening and an informal meeting was planned at the training complex the next morning. Koeman gave a speech to the squad at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper, wished the A-internationals success at their respective tournaments and hopes to see the first players again in the week of Monday, July 12, if he stays on as coach.
