Neymar would like to play with Cristiano Ronalo again, he has revealed to the opposite GQ France. The star player of Paris Saint-Germain, who last week extended his contract with the number two in the Ligue 1, says he also wishes Ronaldo as a teammate in the future after Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé. It is still not known where Ronaldo will be active next season, as Juventus is in danger of grabbing the Champions League tickets. In that case, the Portuguese would like to leave Turin.

Neymar served as a teammate and principal for Messi at Barcelona and now forms an attacking couple with Mbappé at PSG. And so he was asked who would still be on his wish list. “I want to play with Cristiano Ronaldo,” the Brazilian revealed in conversation with GQ France. “I’ve played with great players like Messi and Mbappé, but I haven’t played with Cristiano Ronaldo yet.” In addition, Neymar is aiming for international success with Brazil. “I am now almost thirty years old and have had a good personal career. I would still like to win the World Cup with Brazil.”

Whether it actually comes to a collaboration with Ronaldo will have to become clear in the coming months. The Portuguese superstar has been frequently associated with a move to PSG. Given the deadlock surrounding the contract negotiations with Mbappé, the French superpower is preparing for Mbappé’s possible summer departure. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are according to Le Parisien in the picture as possible replacements, but attracting the attackers of Barcelona and Juventus respectively is complex. Messi can be recruited transfer-free and Ronaldo for a relatively low fee, the salary requirements of the star football players are sky-high.

Neymar, on the other hand, extended his contract with PSG last week, despite rumors of a return to Barcelona. The attacker is now stuck in Paris until mid-2025 and will earn an annual salary of thirty million euros, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported. That does not include a bonus for winning the Champions League. PSG took Neymar away from Barcelona for 222 million euros in the summer of 2017. Since then, the 29-year-old winger has made 112 appearances, providing 86 goals and 51 assists.
