Pierre van Hooijdonk was extremely critical on Twitter on Friday about the game of NAC Breda, following the 3-3 game with Roda JC Kerkrade. The tweets of the former football player and also father of NAC striker Sydney van Hooijdonk are reviewed on Sunday evening in the talk show Rondo from Ziggo Sport. Ruud Gullit is of the opinion that Van Hooijdonk should not express himself in such a way.

“You can forget about direct promotion, but Steijn does have a basis for the after-competition as far as I’m concerned. There is much more alignment than during the previous matches ”, wrote Levien den Boer, chairman of fansite B-Side Rats, after the duel with Roda on Twitter. “Sleep well on .. The only lines in it are the lines of the field”, responded Van Hooijdonk. Den Boer added that Sydney van Hooijdonk should have been brought earlier, but that there was a ‘logical plan of attack’.

“What was that besides long balls to the two strikers? With the highest player budget and putting this on the mat for ten months. Supporters have seen NIKS in 34 matches in both the stadium and ESPN, which NAC stands for ”, wrote Van Hooijdonk. Presenter Jack van Gelder quotes Van Hooijdonk’s tweets Rondo: “Now you are Pierre van Hooijdonk, your son plays for NAC and he is doing well. Because when he plays, he scores a lot. I think he is the top scorer. ”

“But it is not always there,” says Ruud Gullit. Sydney van Hooijdonk played 24 official games for NAC this season, of which 13 as a basic player and in which he accounted for 13 goals and 2 assists. Van Gelder: “As a father, Pierre is getting such an incredible boost. Where were the long balls to the two strikers? With the highest player budget and putting this on the mat for ten months’. Well, check it out for yourself. Pierre is really standing up for his child. ”

“He shouldn’t do this, because it’s always up to the trainer. You only find it annoying that a trainer gets in the way of your son’s development because he has a different idea. That is very difficult to understand. He shouldn’t do this, ”says Gullit. “Could it have been hacked?” Jan van Halst then wonders. Marco van Basten does not recognize Van Hooijdonk in these tweets. “I don’t like this for Pierre van Hooijdonk. I think this is a very strange way … ”
