Dick Advocaat has disclosed Feyenoord’s position on Sunday morning. The coach opts for a 5-3-2 system, just like a few weeks ago against PSV (1-1). Marcos Senesi returns to the defense and the Argentinian stopper is flanked by Uros Spajic and Eric Bottegin. Lutsharel Geertruida and Tyrell Malacia are posted on the flanks. The game in the Galgenwaard starts at 12.15 pm.

The midfield of Feyenoord in Utrecht consists of Leroy Fer, Jens Toornstra and Mark Diemers. Captain Steven Berghuis and Bryan Linssen will be the vanguard of the visitors from Rotterdam on Sunday afternoon. Justin Bijlow is again preferred to the Inter Miami FC departing Nick Marsman in the goal. Robert Bozenik, who had a basic place in the home game against Fortuna Sittard (2-0) last week, has to settle for a place on the reserve bench. Ridgeciano Haps, Lucas Pratto and Luis Sinisterra, among others, will also start as a reserve in the Dom City.

Earlier this season, in November last year, Feyenoord and FC Utrecht held each other in check in De Kuip: 1-1. Geertruida saved a point for the Rotterdam club at the time, after Mark van der Maarel had given the visiting team the lead. Feyenoord last lost on February 28 against AZ (4-2). Since then, eight points have been scored from four games. FC Utrecht managed to turn five of the last seven Eredivisie matches into a win and partly because of this the team of trainer René Hake has risen to seventh place. It is a period of top matches for the home club, because the away match against cup finalist Ajax will follow on Thursday 22 April.
