Vitesse and ADO Den Haag have kept each other in balance on Friday evening. In the GelreDome, the Arnhem team was the parent for almost the entire match, but there was no score: 0-0. It was the fifteenth time in a row for the residents of The Hague that they did not win. The ranking in the Eredivisie will not change for both teams this weekend: Vitesse is fourth with 56 points; ADO (16 points) remains at the bottom of the league.

As expected, trainer Ruud Brood made the necessary changes to the team. For example, Gianni Zuiverloon could count on a basic place for the first time in a month and a half and Kees de Boer, Pascu and Jonas Arweiler were also allowed to start. The latter gave substance to the striker position, as Michael Kramer could not be there for private reasons. At Vitesse the sick Danilho Doekhi was missing, whose honors were taken care of by Alois Oroz.

It was the Arnhemmers who called the shots in the first act and created a lot of danger after just seven minutes of play. ADO got off well, as a passed cross from Oussama Tannane ended up on top of the bar. Vitesse continued to put high pressure and the Hagenaars had little to crumble in the milk, but due to a lack of creativity, the home team could not express the predominance on the scoreboard.

After the break, the first goal came in the name of Armando Broja. The attacker tried to open the score from a cross by Elazar Dasa, but the header lacked too much power to cause trouble for goalkeeper Martin Fraisl. Subsequently, Oroz also made an unsuccessful contribution on behalf of Vitesse with an impure header. Halfway through the second half, Tannane tried his luck, but his placed shot went just wide of the post. In the final quarter, ADO scored a good chance via Vicente Besuijen, which was killed by the winger by the way. The spell was no longer broken.
