Riechedly Bazoer is again part of the selection of Vitesse. The number four of the Eredivisie publishes photos of Wednesday’s training through the official channels and it appears that Bazoer was present. The defender was put on Sunday by trainer Thomas Letsch for the game with AZ (2-1 win), after he had misbehaved during Friday’s training.

Bazoer can therefore be used for Sunday’s away match against FC Utrecht. In the game with AZ, he was replaced by Enzo Cornelisse, who got a red card in the second half and is therefore suspended for the encounter with Utrecht. Matus Bero and Oussama Tannane, who received their fifth yellow card against AZ, also miss the away game against the number seven of the Eredivisie.

On Monday, Vitesse did not want to give a definite answer about Bazoer’s return to the selection. Technical director Johannes Spors announced that there would first be a conversation between himself, Bazoer and Letsch. “We regret the whole turn of events,” Spors said on Monday the Gelderlander. “This is the situation: Riechedly missed the game against AZ. We are now looking further.”

Bazoer would have kicked on Friday’s training with teammate Daan Huisman and then went into a verbal battle with Letsch and captain Remko Pasveer. Letsch husky Bazoer then for the duel with AZ. At Vitesse, the playmaker has repeatedly come into conflict with former trainer Leonid Slutsky in the past and he came to blows with Jay-Roy Grot during training. However, there is a big difference with last year’s incident: this time Bazoer immediately repented after his emotional outburst.
