Thijs Dallinga continues to find the net in recent weeks. After his goal in a European context against Liverpool (3-2) earlier this week, the Dutch striker was accurate again on Sunday afternoon. With his goal, the Groningen native saved a point on behalf of Toulouse against LOSC Lille: 1-1.
Toulouse fell behind against Lille after exactly half an hour of play. Leny Yori gave the home team the lead with his goal. After more than an hour of play, Dallinga evened the score, against the odds. The attacker headed home from a free kick.
Dallinga has therefore been accurate five times in the past six matches, partly thanks to his goal today. The striker scored in both matches against Liverpool and was the only goalscorer on the Toulouse side in the matches against Stade Reims (1-1) and Le Havre (1-2).
