Manchester United will do everything they can to bring Randal Kolo Muani to Old Trafford next summer, the German newspaper reports BILD. Where manager Erik ten Hag’s club was previously linked to Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Tammy Abraham, the Eintracht Frankfurt striker would currently be the main target. The Red Devils are considering making a bid of 120 (!) million euros for 24-year-old Kolo Muani, which would wipe out the club record.

Currently, that record is still held by Paul Pogba, for whom no less than 105 million euros was paid to Juventus in 2016. Anthony, who was taken over from Ajax for 95 million euros last summer, is in second place. Third place is still in the hands of Harry Maguire, who came over from Leicester City (2019) for 87 million euros. The transfer of Kolo Muani would, if United actually pay 120 million euros next summer, immediately top the list.

For Eintracht, that amount would be an absolute gold mine. The club’s highest sale comes from 2019, when Luka Jovic left for Real Madrid for 63 million euros. In addition, the Germans have done extra good business: Kolo Muani came over transfer-free from FC Nantes last summer. According to Transfer market he is now worth 37 million euros. However, the Eintracht club management can ask what they want, given that Kolo Muani is still stuck in Deutsche Bank Park until mid-2027.

Kolo Muani has been an absolute sensation at Eintracht this season. The right-footed striker already has sixteen goals and fourteen assists after 34 official games. Last World Cup, Kolo Muani, who has now won five international matches, was already part of the France selection. In the lost World Cup final (3-3, 4-2 after penalties) against Argentina, the striker missed a huge chance of winning 3-4, after which he used his penalty in vain in the penalty shootout. Bee les Bleus he is seen as the ideal future attacking partner for Kylian Mbappé.
