There is still no clarity about the future of Sergio Ramos. The Real Madrid center-back has had several opportunities to keep up with his expiring commitment the Royal to extend, but the club management gave no request each time. On Instagram, Ramos hints at his possible new employer, as he has followed a large part of the Paris Saint-Germain selection. In addition, he responded enthusiastically to Neymar’s contract extension on the medium last week.

Ramos caused a sensation on Instagram by following Neymar, Mauro Icardi, Rafael Alcântara, Ander Herrera, Keylor Navas and Julian Draxler, among others. All playing for PSG. Internally at Real, the idea is growing that Ramos is working on his last weeks in the shirt of the superpower. The club made him several offers, but fears that the Spain international has received a better offer at another club and will close the door of the Santiago Bernabéu next summer. The man has already been mentioned several times at PSG, which after Neymar’s contract extension hopes to strengthen itself in the defensive next season to make a serious shot at the first Champions League in the club’s history.

Neymar’s new engagement was received with cheers last weekend by Ramos, who responded via Instagram with four emoticons of clapping hands. The center-back’s comment was liked nearly 65,000 times, making it by far the most popular response of all. Although PSG has not yet made the interest in Ramos very concrete, it is no secret that technical director Leonardo is closely monitoring Ramos’s situation at Real. The reigning champion of France, however, wants to wait until Ramos and Real come out with news about the future of the defender at the end of the season.

Ramos, who reportedly earns seventeen million euros a year at Real, had expected more appreciation from Real and was also annoyed by the fact that chairman Florentino Pérez only held it at short meetings with him for the time being. Later, however, the contact between Ramos and the chairman turned out to be a lot better. It is still unclear whether Real is still looking for a successor to the man-driver. David Alaba’s name is increasingly popular in the Spanish capital. The left leg decided to say goodbye to Bayern Munich in February after thirteen years and is high on Real’s wish list.
