It is not a foregone conclusion that Jordan Teze will also defend the club colours of PSV next season. The multifunctional defender has had a strong year and, according to Rik Elfrink, can play for the Eindhoven Daily Newspaper expect interest from 'all major leagues'.

Teze has a contract with PSV that expires in a year. If the champion defender does not extend this contract, he can leave Eindhoven behind for free in the summer of 2025.

PSV has offered its regular player a contract extension, Elfrink knows. Teze is considering the offer, but could also choose to push for a departure.

“Teze is receiving interest from all major leagues and is currently still thinking about his future,” the Eindhoven journalist writes. “If one of the interested clubs really goes through with it, PSV will probably have to look for a new right back. Teze can also sign with PSV until mid-2028, is probably the offer in Eindhoven.”

Elfrink does not say which clubs are involved. He does mention the names of four other PSV players who may leave this transfer summer due to their contracts running until mid-2025.

New defense?

Olivier Boscagli, Mauro Júnior, Armando Obispo and Walter Benítez also have one-year contracts. It is known that there is concrete interest from Atlético Madrid about the Argentinian goalkeeper, but for now the offer from the Spanish powerhouse is so low that PSV sells a 'no'.

“Mauro Júnior seems to be staying at PSV, although the talks about his new contract have not yet been completed. Armando Obispo is also still considering an extension of his contract for several years, while the same applies to Olivier Boscagli,” said Elfrink.
